METHODOLOGY

N=32 students taught Reiki level 1, agreed to give self-Reiki twice a week for 20 weeks.
Questionnaires used at baseline and at intervals throughout the study

RESULTS AND COMMENTS

20 students completed the 20 weeks.
There were statistically significant decreases in the students’ stress levels from baseline to all other weeks and further reductions between the weeks.
Comment: The sample size was small.
