About the UK Reiki Federation

Our Organisation

The UK Reiki Federation (UKRF) is an independent, not-for-profit, professional organisation run by members for members.

Reiki is our passion. We are fully committed to sharing our expertise and knowledge with our members and the general public to increase awareness of Reiki through education & information.

Since 1999, we have been at the forefront for developing the highest standards for Reiki education, training, research, and practice. We continue to be actively involved in high-level representative groups working on revised standards for training of professional practitioners in the United Kingdom.

Now the largest Reiki-only professional organisation in the UK and Europe, we are here for every step of your Reiki journey – from finding a certified Reiki practitioner for a Reiki session, sourcing an accredited Reiki course, or practicing and teaching Reiki professionally.

Reiki has always been a part of my life however, my personal Reiki learning journey started during lock-down with online courses. However none of these were accredited, so my search for approved course providers brought me to the UKRF. I have always been fully aware and immersed in the power of energy healing, human connectedness and self healing which is the essence of Reiki.

I am passionate about bringing science and spirituality to the forefront and in favour of increasing the credibility of Reiki within the medical community. I support equality, diversity and inclusion within the UKRF and amongst its members. The skills I bring to the UKRF include marketing, communications, training, facilitating and coaching.

I began my Reiki journey in 2020. I have worked as a creative since graduating from university with a Master’s in Design. My skillset is varied and creatively I work from concept, through to campaign across an array of media channels including print, display and digital. I have experience in building and working with strong brand identities.

I love a challenge, and during lockdown I build my own campervan, touring northern Spain and Portugal for a month. I like to spend my weekends covered in saw dust, grease or paint, and when not building, chopping or fixing things, I can be found riding my motorcycle or planning my next big adventure.
