Reiki’s Wonderful Invitation

Tanya Leiper
In this modern world with so much available to us online and at the click of a button it is easy for us to get caught up in wanting everything now.

However, it is useful to remember that we shouldn’t always expect things within our lives to happen quickly, some things, are longer term projects or processes.

Reiki is an excellent example of this since Reiki energy nurtures us at its own gentle pace, as it invites us to slow down and join with its wonderful healing flow of energy.

Maria and Annica from Sweden and Leo from Austria have built real momentum, and we were delighted to welcome Daniella from Italy as our newest member. Between them they are producing content that is thoughtful, professional and genuinely representative of Reiki across Europe.

It is worth saying plainly that every one of them is a volunteer. They give their time because they believe in what the ERG is here to do, and the difference they have made in a matter of months has been remarkable.

Alongside that, our new website is well under way and will be ready to launch shortly.

This matters more than a website normally would. Our current site has served us loyally, but it no longer reflects where we are heading.

The new one will give us an identity that matches our ambition and our vision for the future, and it will sit properly alongside the social media channels the media team have been working so hard on.

Federico from Italy is leading the project and will formally take over as our webmaster.

When we accept Reiki’s invitation to slow ourselves down, amazing things start to happen in that we become more present, and our body, mind and spirit have a wonderful chance to rebalance themseves.

When we find ourselves more in balance, as well as feeling physically and emotionally better, we have better clarity and we notice more both within ourselves and within the world around us.

And with this clarity we are also more able to recognise the learning and opportunities that the universe subtly presents to us each day.

Sometimes our busy lives get in the way of our Reiki time and if we don’t join with Reiki’s wonderful energy for a while that is okay as well. Reiki is like a good book, we can read a few pages and put it down knowing that it is always there waiting for us to come back to if we so choose.

And if or when we pick up Reiki again, we return to an old friend who is always there waiting to support, guide and teach us throughout each day.

What more can any of us ask for as we accept Reiki’s wonderful invitation and continue onwards with our individual journeys of healing and learning through Reiki.
