METHODOLOGY

Pilot study: Reiki Part 1 practitioners practiced selfReiki for 3 weeks.
The Perceived Stress Scale tool was used to determine how effective Reiki was in relation to stress.
17 participants finished the study

RESULTS AND COMMENTS

Results indicate that practicing self- Reiki resulted in reduced perceived stress levels and may be useful for work related stress.
