Complying with the law on advertising and the treatment of cancer

As a CNHC registrant, you may be practising therapies which are used by those receiving treatment for cancer. It is therefore imperative that you familiarise yourself with the provisions of the Cancer Act 1939 and take care to ensure that your advertising complies with the law.

IPM 24: Discounted rates for CNHC registrants

CNHC are pleased to be supporting the Integrative and Personalised Medicine Congress (IPM) for a third year. This year’s Congress takes place on 6 to 8 June 2024 at the QEII Centre in London.

If you are a CNHC registrant you will receive a discounted early bird rate if you book by 3 May 2024, starting from £149 for a one-day conference pass. As well as entrance to the conferences you will have free access to the workshops and exhibition.

National Complementary Therapy Week 2024

This year’s National Complementary Therapy Week takes place on 20 to 26 March 2024. The awareness week is sponsored by Complementary Health Professionals (CHP) who are a professional association for complementary therapists and act as a CNHC Verifying Organisation.

National Complementary Therapy Week is an event aimed at celebrating complementary therapies and the work of complementary therapists who provide an invaluable service in supporting people with their health and wellbeing.

Help publicise CNHC’s Accredited Register

If you are a CNHC registrant, you can help spread the word about CNHC’s Accredited Register by displaying our leaflets.

We produce three leaflets – one aimed at complementary healthcare practitioners, encouraging them to “Stand Up for Standards” by registering with CNHC, a public information leaflet aimed at people looking for a therapist, explaining how they can “Choose with Confidence” by searching our online Accredited Register, and a leaflet about our Code of Conduct Ethics and Performance. You can order them free of charge.
