The First Minister, Mark Drakeford, has announced today (19 October) that a “circuit-breaker” or “fire-break” will be introduced across Wales. The fire-break will start at 6pm on Friday 23 October 2020 and end on Monday 9 November 2020. It will replace the local restrictions which are in force in some parts of  Wales.

All close contact services must close from that date.

What does it mean for CNHC Registrants providing close contact services in Wales?
From 6pm on Friday 23 October, all CNHC Registrants with practices based in Wales who provide close-contact services (i.e. hands-on therapies where social distancing is not possible) must stop working until Monday 9 November.
