UK Reiki Federation Annual Conference 2025

A Weekend of Connection, Inspiration and Transformation

The UK Reiki Federation Annual Conference 2025 took place over the weekend of 5th and 6th July, and what a remarkable weekend it was.

Saturday – In Person at Coulsdon Manor, Surrey

Saturday saw members gather face-to-face at the beautiful Coulsdon Manor Hotel. From the moment registration opened and goodie bags were collected, the energy in the room was warm and welcoming. With Geoff Rolls as our compère, the day began with intention-setting and an interactive opening that set the tone for what followed: a powerful, engaging and deeply meaningful experience for all who attended.

Highlights from the morning included a grounding meditation with internationally renowned teacher Frans Stiene, followed by thought-provoking talks on the expanding role of Reiki in healthcare. With contributions from leading voices at Reiki Medic Care, Reiki Healthcare Trust, and the CNHC, this session offered both inspiration and insight into how Reiki is increasingly recognised in clinical settings.

Alexandra de Angelis reminded us of the human rights aspects of care, before a vibrant panel explored how Reiki can be practiced professionally while maintaining authenticity and integrity.

The afternoon was equally energising. From a group Reiki share and powerful talks by Torsten Lange and Duncan Cross, to Qigong practice and a resonation circle, the day offered rich opportunities for reflection and connection. The UKRF rebrand was officially launched by Chair Anne-Marie Carratu and Vice Chair Gavin Ford, drawing strong support from the community. The day closed with a beautiful crystal bowl sound bath led by Jo Fellows, bringing calm and clarity to all who joined.

A very special thank you goes to Frans Stiene and Nico Michielsen, who both travelled from the Netherlands to be with us in person. Their presence and wisdom were a true gift.

Sunday – Online and Open to All Members

Sunday moved online, allowing even more of our membership to take part. With 298 members registering, the virtual event was a triumph in accessibility and engagement. From start to finish, the day was filled with enriching content.

Frans Stiene returned to guide our opening meditation, followed by Nico Michielsen’s important update on the work of the European Reiki Group. Talks from Ema Melanaphy, Pernille Hildorf, and Geoff Rolls offered new perspectives on meridians, EFT, and NLP, while movement and energy work sessions led by Heidi Lawton and Jo Fellows brought balance to the programme.

In the afternoon, we explored the deeper aspects of Reiki with Frans, learned about animal Reiki from Laura Barbour, and heard from Torsten Lange on deepening intuition. The weekend closed with a heartfelt panel Q&A and a final moment of shared gratitude, affirming our collective commitment to personal practice and professional standards.

Watch Again

If you registered for Sunday’s online event, the full set of recordings is now available to watch at your convenience. We know that many of the sessions will be ones you’ll want to revisit.

In Gratitude

On behalf of the UK Reiki Federation, thank you to everyone who contributed, spoke, volunteered, attended, or supported the conference in any way. It’s your presence, spirit, and commitment to Reiki that make events like this so meaningful.

Until next time,

The UKRF Team
