My passion for health and wellness began over 20 years ago when I first started working within the NHS. Over the last decade, I trained as a registered nurse and have worked primarily in the Emergency Department. Alongside my nursing career, I felt a growing pull toward holistic health and wellness and began to explore complementary therapies. This journey led me to train as a Reiki Master, Sound Therapist, and Life Coach, deepening my understanding of the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of wellbeing.
Driven by a deep curiosity about how energy therapies can support overall health, I joined the UKRF Research team to explore and evidence the benefits of Reiki. I’m proud to bring these modalities together, not only in my nursing role and with my private clients but also in my paid role as a Reiki Practitioner within the NHS. I feel incredibly blessed to be in this role where I can blend clinical insight with holistic practices to support patients (both adults and children) with their wellness and promote relaxation whilst on their health journey in hospital.
