I am an Associate Professor (Teaching and Learning) and the director of the Karuna Centre for Reiki Training. Reiki found me in 1998 after I was in a car crash and a friend offered me Reiki for the pain. I had no pain for 2 days and this took me on my Reiki journey. I took Reiki 1 in 1998, Reiki 2 in January 1999 and then undertook a 12 month programme to become a Reiki Master in 2000. I have been teaching Reiki since then and have worked with Reiki in the UK, China, Tibet, and North America
