Annual Review & Festival 2010
The Annual Review & Festival of the UK Reiki Federation was held over the weekend 10/12 April 2010.
After the Annual Review on the Saturday our first speaker was Barry Tanner of the GRCCT. He gave an update on the state of regulation. Penelope Quest then treated us to an inspiring talk entitled “The Sound of Reiki” and she introduced her beautiful gong to the group.
On the Sunday the day started with a lively and exciting workshop from Penelope Quest entitled “Releasing Trauma and Reversing Negative Beliefs”. Dr David Hamilton then gave a highly enlightening and enjoyable talk entitled “How Your Mind Can Heal Your Body”. The research group gave an insight and suggestions for taking “Reiki into Hospitals” and finally, Mike Randell and Joe Potter shared their own very personal experiences of how they were using Reiki in helping them to deal with Prostate Cancer, which was a very emotional and inspiring talk.
