Annual Review & Festival 2008
The UK Reiki Federation experienced another successful Annual Review & Festival on the weekend of 29/30 March 2008.
The Annual Review, which was held on Saturday 29 March 2008 resulted in a new Management Committee for 2008-2009 as Sylvia Clegg, Sandra Garratt, Robert Jefford (Chair) , Wendy Liles, Edith Maskell, Joe Potter, Michael Randell (Vice Chair) Doreen Sawyer (Secretary), John Spillman and Anne Tottingham. There was no nomination for Treasurer, however, Veronica Fenn had agreed to continue in this role for the coming year.
Christine Johnston, who has been a member of the Management Committee for the past six years, stepped down and we would like to express our sincere thanks to Christine for the contribution she has made. Christine continues in her role as co-ordinator for publications, including the Resonance and newsletters.
The Festival took a slightly different format this year, with the Saturday afternoon having both a speaker and a workshop. Penelope Quest was the invited speaker for the Saturday, always a very popular and interesting guest. On the Sunday, Professor James Oschman from the USA, gave talks in the morning and also offered workshops in the afternoon. CDs from Professor Oschman’s talk are available to UKRF members.
