We are pleased to give notice of our first one-day regional conference, to be held on 22 September 2007 The conference will include talks by four separate speakers on topics of interest to UK Reiki Federation members. Current speakers include Dr Robert Jefford, Chair of the UK Reiki Federation, who has over 50 years’ of experience in Reiki, and we hope that Frans & Bronwen Stiene of the International House of Reiki, and one of the best selling authors of Reiki books, will be able to join us as part of their European Tour which brings them to Essex 5-7 October.
The venue for this event is the Kindersley Centre, based at the Sheepdrove Organic Farm near Lambourn, Berkshire. Set at the heart of award-winning Sheepdrove Organic Farm, The Kindersley Centre is housed within a beautiful eco-friendly building, surrounded by fields and woodlands, with spectacular views across rolling downland.
The Centre is 15 minutes from Junction 14 of the M4, 45 minutes from London Paddington. Nearest stations are Didcot Parkway, Newbury and Swindon.
Delegates will be welcomed with coffee and cakes in the dramatic setting of The Hall, with its unique glass-covered chalk pit and mural. The Sheepdrove Shop will be open for delegates.
All the food served is directly linked to what is growing in the Sheepgrove gardens and farm. Menus reflect the changing seasons and they always use organic, natural, wholesome ingredients, avoiding pre-prepared goods.
Delegates will have opportunity to explore the surroundings, including the Physic Garden, planted by renowned herb grower, Jekka McVicar. The garden offers an aromatic place for delegates to relax.
The cost for the one-day event is £65.00 per person**, which includes tea and coffee on arrival, mid morning refreshments with homemade biscuits, three course buffet lunch, afternoon refreshments.
Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first served basis. No bookings may be taken after 29 June 2007. We reserve the right to amend the programme, or to cancel the event if there is insufficient support.
