The UK Reiki Federation
New Year... New Energies
I wish each of you a very happy, healthy and abundant 2004.
That this is a time of continued heightened consciousness, with much greater openness clearly evident at every turn, is well known. In the short time since taking on the role of Chair, I have been deeply moved at the extent of UK Reiki Federation members’ individual and collective efforts to raise awareness and to help others to heal themselves and this planet.
I pay tribute to you and to your dedication.
You are the lifeblood of this, one of the largest and most respected of professional Reiki organisations, and I thank you sincerely for your contribution to the continuing growth and success of YOUR Reiki Federation.
At the same time as thanking each of you for your part in the development of the UKRF, I urge you to look to your own ongoing personal development. This year promises to be an exciting period in the history of Reiki when continuing professional development may come under greater scrutiny.
Those of you whose work is at times isolating have told us that interaction with like-minded individuals at UKRF events can be especially uplifting, in addition to facilitating spiritual as well as professional Reiki development.
So do take advantage of the Annual Festival. An array of excellent workshops is always available providing enjoyable opportunities to meet with fellow members for mutual benefit. The Festival is also a unique chance to catch up with existing Reiki friends from the length and breadth of the country and to make new ones.
The National Networking and Co-ordination scheme provides invaluable opportunities to link with members within your area/region so do the effort to network – it brings many benefits.
In all that you do, in all that you experience, may your journeying be joyful.
Kay Zega, Chair
January 2004
