The UK Reiki Federation
UK REIKI FEDERATION
Calling ALL Reiki Practitioners and Teachers...
Now there is a democratic organisation for YOU.
What is the UK Reiki Federation?
The UK Reiki Federation is an umbrella organisation set up by Reiki practitioners from diverse styles to establish National Occupational Standards and to promote best practice in the delivery of Reiki to the public and to provide a recourse.
The Treasurer of the Parliamentary Group for Alternative and Complementary Medicine, MP David Tredinnick, is pleased that Reiki practitioners are becoming one voice with voluntary self regulation and being taken seriously as a professional body.
HRH Prince Charles promoted the Integrated Medicine Initiative so that orthodox and complementary healthcare could work together (within the NHS). For this to happen, complementary therapies must develop National Occupational Standards to ensure high professional standards of practice and patient care. Thus all healthcare professionals are required to have nationally recognised qualifications.
Ideas and views are being sought and acted upon from the UKRF membership and we invite members of other organisations and associations to participate and we welcome your input.
The UKRF comprises Reiki practitioners who have a common vision that the organisation aims to embrace all forms of Reiki, to provide support, advice and an information network.
