The Reiki Regulatory Working Group (RRWG)
About the RRWG
A UK Reiki Federation-led initiative, the Reiki Regulatory Working Group (RRWG) was set up by representatives of the UKRF and other Reiki organisations in collaboration with the Prince of Wales’ Foundation for Integrated Health. The RRWG provides a forum for the exchange of views, concerns, standards and best practice with the intention of “speaking with one voice” in working towards Voluntary Self Regulation of Reiki and creation of the single UK Register of Professional Reiki Practitioners.
We invite other Reiki organisations or individual Reiki Practitioners and Teachers to make contact with any of the participating members of the RRWG (listed on the RRWG Website), so that they may be consulted in any decision making part of this process towards Voluntary Self Regulation.
There is much to be done, but the Reiki community has taken the crucial first steps. We invite everyone to choose to send positive thoughts for the highest good of all concerned, to aid this process of working together to achieve VSR.

Updates
January 2008 - As reported previously,
the RRWG had withdrawn from the Federal Working Group
(FWG) and the proposed Natural Healthcare Council (NHC).
The RRWG meeting in January was called to review other
available options, and presentations were given on each.

December 2007 - The RRWG has withdrawn from the the regulatory
process within the FWG (Federal Working Group). The UK Reiki
Federation supported this decision.
