Membership

The UK Reiki Federation offers the following categories of membership, which have been revised in order to acknowledge the various levels of training and professionalism within our membership, and the move towards Voluntary Self Regulation.

There are two main types of membership, viz Non-Practitioners (ie Friends, Associates) and Practitioners (i.e .Practitioner, Master Practitioner, Master Teacher). Criteria for membership is given under each category and copies of appropriate certificates will be required on application. Please note that minimum requirements for each membership category are highlighted. Incomplete applications will be delayed. Please allow up to 28 working days for processing.

PRACTITIONER MEMBER (PM) Requirements: Must be minimum of 12 months since Reiki I Provide copy of lineage back to Mikao Usui Must hold minimum Reiki II Must Sign Codes of Ethics Must hold current practitioner insurance** [footnote: overseas members] Provide copy of lineage Conditions/Benefits: As for Friends/Associates plus Inclusion on practitioner listings (main listing held in the Federation office) Voting Member Able to use the phrase “UK Reiki Federation Practitioner Member” on stationery Receive Practitioner Pack	£50.00	£60.00	£70.00
MASTER PRACTITIONER MEMBER (MPM) Requirements: As for Practitioner Member, plus Holds Master Certificate or Reiki III or 3a Conditions/Benefits: As for Practitioner Member, plus Able to use the phrase “UK Reiki Federation Master Practitioner Member” on stationery	£50.00	£60.00	£70.00
TEACHER (MT) Requirements: As for Practitioner Member, plus Holds Master Teacher Certificate or Reiki IV or 3b which clearly states that the individual is qualified to Master Teacher level ie is qualified to Teach or Initiate or Attune to Reiki Conditions/Benefits: As for Practitioner Member, plus Able to use the phrase “UK Reiki Federation Teacher Member” on stationery	£50.00	£60.00	£70.00

Existing Members

Renewal letters are sent out to members just prior to the renewal date. If replacement forms are required please contact the Admin Office, quoting your full name and membership number.

Please will you also take this opportunity check your entry in the online Practitioner and Teacher Listing - guidelines and a shortcut to your entry are on the Members Noticeboard.

Changes in Category of Membership

Non-practitioner members may apply for upgrade to the Practitioner categories when they fully meet the criteria and by paying the difference in membership subscription – please complete a new membership application form and send to the UKRF with appropriate supporting documentation. If practitioner members receive further training and wish to upgrade within these categories prior to renewal, there will be an administration fee of £10.00. 

European/Worldwide Members

** Overseas members who hold public liability insurance and have provided evidence of this, will be eligible for inclusion in the Practitioner Listings. However, where insurance is not available or evidenced then inclusion on the Listings will not be possible.
