Note:

With effect from 1 July 2003 the UK Reiki Federation changed its categories of membership, to more accurately reflect the levels of training and professionalism within its membership, and the move towards Voluntary Self Regulation. There are two main types of membership, viz Non-Practitioners (ie Friends, Associates) and Practitioners (ie Practitioner, Master Practitioner, Master Teacher).

Please note that in documents produced prior to 1 July 2003 the non practitioner members were referred to as “Provisional” members, and the practitioner members were called “Associate” members. This may be a little confusing at first but hopefully the table above clarifies the present categories.
