Following are some of the most frequently asked questions by members of the UK Reiki Federation. Before you contact us with a query, please check that your question has not already been answered below or on related pages. - I am moving overseas, can I remain a member?

I am moving overseas, can I remain a member?
We offer both a European and Worldwide membership, which offers membership to those living abroad, therefore if you are moving abroad you can pay the difference in premium to cover the additional subscription rate. However, for those who have Practitioner membership, you may not be listed on the Practitioner listings unless we have evidence of practitioner insurance cover within the country in which you are practising. You can still be a Practitioner member, but without the listing. This applies to European and Worldwide membership only.
Can I buy leaflets about Reiki or about the Federation from you?
Yes, members may buy leaflets and full information is given in the regular newsletters. Many teachers buy the Federation information leaflets for issue to their students. The Client/Patient leaflets are popular for use by practitioners with their clients. Please see Publications.
I would like to buy clothing or merchandise which indicates that I am a member of the Federation, do you offer anything?
Yes, we have a range of clothing items which are available for members. Please email sales@reikifed.co.uk for further details. We hope to have information available on this website in due course.
I notice that there is not an Area Representative in this area, would I be eligible to take this on?
Yes, if we do not have an active representative in your area then we would welcome your involvement. Please see National Co-ordination & Networking, and email ncn@reikifed.co.uk to express your interest and you will be sent appropriate information.
I would like to be a volunteer and offer time to the Federation. What do I need to do?
Please contact the Admin office via enquiry@reikifed.co.uk and indicate where your area of expertise (or interest) lies. You will be asked to complete a form and send in a CV to give us an idea of where your talents could be best utilised. Examples of areas where there is always a need include - fund raising, marketing, research, area representation etc.
I am a practitioner member and have lost the practitioner pack which I received on joining. Can I get another?
Existing practitioner members may purchase additional copies of the Practitioner Pack for £6.50, by sending in covering letter and cheque to the Admin Office. These are not available to Associates or to non-members.
I received my membership pack this week, but my name is not on the website, how long does it take?
When an application is processed, a practitioner’s details immediately go on our practitioner listings which are held on the database in our office; these are used for all referrals via the office. The website listings are updated approximately every 4-6 weeks and the exact time that an entry is made depends on when it is processed within the office; it may be timed perfectly just before the update is due so it may only take a few days, or it may be just after an update has been done, in which case it may take longer.
